Fantastic concept and my grandchildren's can't wait for a new playground. My only negative comment is a large fig tree next to the playground is very messy when bearing a fruit and weekly cleaning of the playground during this period is not enough. Peter

Feature tree is good but I would like to see more trees planted. Every park upgrade should be seen as an opportunity to plant more tree. A basketball hoop would be well received. Rubber soft fall is very very hot. Recent studies have indicated it can reach over 50 degrees. Please consider use of more natural soft fall. Children need to get closer to nature

The new equipment and layout design is a positive improvement, however it is still only suitable for toddlers and young children. An established large fig tree exists near Ascot Street framing the playground. Therefore an alternative to the new feature tree, a large triangular net climbing frame should be installed suitable for older children. Without a feature of this nature, there is no new equipment for older primary school aged children.
It is imperative to keep the existing cycle track as a continuous circuit, as this is not clearly communicated in the design The Kokoda Park cycleway is a popular location for children learning to ride, scoot and skate.
