Stage 1 consultation

This tired, but much loved park is getting a little spruce up! Randwick City Council is planning to upgrade the playground at Kokoda Memorial Park, Ascot Street Kensington.

The upgrade will include new soft fall, a new fence and plantings. But most importantly, it will include new play equipment.

We would love to hear from the little (and big!) people of Randwick City to help us create a fun and interactive playground.

• Join us at the playground for a free coffee and a chat on Wednesday 19 June, 3.30-4.30pm or Saturday 22 June, 9.30-10.30am to tell us how we can make the playground better for your family
• Play Landscape Architect for the day and use our Budget Allocator(External link) to design a playground that doesn't break the bank
• Use our ideas board to throw out a great idea

Consultation period: 31 May - 12 July 2019 (extended).

What happens next?

Your feedback will help us develop concept plans for the playground upgrade which will be on public exhibition mid-2020.
