    Randwick City Council is currently conducting community consultation in relation to a planning proposal and contributions plan that affects properties located within and immediately adjoining the Kensington and Kingsford town centres.The Planning Proposal seeks to amend the Randwick Local Environmental Plan 2012 (RLEP 2012) and establish a new vision for the Kensington and Kingsford town centres.The Planning Proposal applies to areas zoned B2 Local Centre in the Kensington and Kingsford town centres, and three locations immediately adjoining the Kingsford town centre comprising 16, 18 and 20 Barker Street, 582-584 and 586-592 Anzac Parade, 63 Harbourne Road and 12, 14, 16...

We will soon be entering into a new contract for our waste collection services and we want to know what's important to you. We are interested in your thoughts on our current services and what changes you might like to see in relation to our kerb-side collections, food waste collections, clean up services and smart-bin technology.
    Consultation period: 24 July to 3 September 2019.

    This tired, but much loved park is getting a little spruce up! Randwick City Council is planning to upgrade the playground at Kokoda Memorial Park, Goodwood Street Kensington. We would love to hear from the little (and big!) people of Randwick City to help us create a fun and interactive playground.

    We are reviewing our Code of Meeting Practice based on the Office of Local Government’s Model Code of Meeting Practice for Local Councils in NSW 2018. The Code applies to all meetings of Council and committees of Council of which all the members are Councillors.
    Consultation period: 17 May to 14 June 2019 (submissions close 28 June 2019).

    We're calling on residents to help identify any bollards on paths which may be problematic for cyclists or other users such as those with prams, motorised wheelchairs or runners. The data gathered will be collated and staff will undertake a program to investigate each site.
