Draft Masterplan on public exhibition

In March 2019 we asked the community to tell us what they love about Clovelly Road and what could be changed to improve the liveability and vitality of this much-loved area.

We were told to add more greenery, prioritise alternative modes of transport, strengthen the village feel, reduce speed limits, make it safer for pedestrians and cyclists, and promote outdoor dining.

In response, we have created a draft masterplan that focuses on three main categories:

1. Green framework: planting more trees
2. Streetscape activation: creating places for people
3. Connectivity: better streets for people

The masterplan outlines Council’s overall vision for Clovelly Road and includes artist’s impressions for improvements at six key locations from Centennial Park to Clovelly Beach.

The draft masterplan is now on public exhibition and we welcome your feedback.
