?????LIGHT rail will go beyond the University of NSW and travel to the heart of Randwick under a new proposal from Randwick Council.
Randwick mayor Murray Matson has revealed hopes for the mass transit system being considered by the State Government.
It will snake up High St, on to Belmore Rd and back to Anzac Pde via Alison Rd.
The new route being spruiked by the University of NSW and the Australian Turf Club, as well as council, will be examined in a $300,000 feasibility study, which will be submitted to the State Government for its final decision.
This consultation has concluded. This website was operational from 2011 to 2014 as a means to consult the community and show the benefits of light rail in Randwick City.
