The Sydney Morning Herald today reported that a light rail line to Randwick would extend from Anzac Parade to The Spot in southern Randwick under a plan being promoted by Randwick Council, Sydney Turf Club and the University of NSW. The council will today announce a pre-feasibility study to work on the engineering and potential patronage of a route that would go down Anzac Parade from Hinders Street, and hook around Alison Road, the Belmore Road retail strip and High Street before reconnecting to Anzac Parade.
