Consultation has concluded.
Project update: Council is currently finalising the plans to upgrade the playground based on community feedback.
Community feedback on the proposed playground design highlighted an overall desire to keep the current equipment but replace broken items, improve safety and enhance accessibility to create a safer play space.

Randwick Council is planning to upgrade the playground at Wills Reserve on Duke Street, Kensington.
The reserve provides a quiet, leafy escape for local families who enjoy the park's grassy area for ball sports, walking the dog, and playing in the playground.
We’ve received feedback about the playground's aging equipment and worn-out rubber surface. In response, we’ve developed a concept design that will give the playground a fresh, new look.
The design includes:
Multi-play equipment with climbing nets and slides
New swings
Toddler spring rider
Carousel
New bright, two colour soft fall in the fenced playground area
More seating
Refreshed garden beds
The voice tubes, bike training course, and shade sail will all remain.
We would love to hear your thoughts on the concept design so that together, we can make Wills Reserve a place where everyone wants to play!
Meet us at the playground on Wednesday 12 June, 3pm to 4pm (weather permitting)
