Council adopted the Community Consultation Plan at its meeting on 10 December 2019. A number of changes were made to the plan as a result of community feedback. You can view the changes in the Council Report.
Randwick City Council has drafted a new Community Participation Plan that outlines how and when Council will engage with the community on planning matters, including development assessments, as well as Council projects and policies.
Continuing Council's commitment to providing the community with a voice in Council decision-making, the CPP will guide Council's engagement activities and set minimum mandatory and non-mandatory public exhibition time frames.
The CPP is a Council-adopted policy prepared as a requirement under the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 (EP&A Act).
