Laundry Legend

Realising my wallet was missing, I eventually retraced my steps to the self-serve laundry on Alison Road where I had done my washing earlier in the day. The owner (I don't know his name) had found it on the bench and held it for me safe behind the counter. All contents present and he wouldn't accept a reward. I now have a washing machine but I still go out of my way to give him business whenever I can.

On the same note, my partner lost his phone while running in Waverley Cemetery last weekend. Fearing the worst, he ran into the Clovelly Bowls club to ring it and someone had already handed it in to them. Not even a name was left for a reward.

Thank you Randwick!
