Will Council consult the community again before constructing the new amenities?
Following Council endorsement of the masterplan, we will consult the community again on concept plan for the amenities building.
Will the new amenities include an undercover area for spectator weather protection?
Yes, the new amenities will include an undercover area / verandah for spectators.
Will BBQ facilities be included in the new amenities design?
Public BBQ facilities will not be provided.
Will the entire sports field be returfed?
The sports field upgrade will include new returf, improved drainage and irrigation systems.
Will any vegetation be removed as part of the project?
The small shrub area at the southern end of the upgraded field will be replaced with terraced landscaping to manage the slope. The terrace will be landscaped with endemic species (native to the area) and blend with the existing shrubs.
Who will the expanded sports field accommodate?
There will be no change to current sport field booking system.
