Randwick Council is seeking community feedback on our draft Resourcing Strategy.
The Resourcing Strategy is an essential element of our Integrated Planning and Reporting Framework. It is a long term plan for how we will provide the resources required to perform our functions including delivering the outcomes of our Community Strategic Plan through our four year delivery program, and providing the ongoing services and regulatory functions needed by our community.
The Strategy details how Council will provide the resources required to deliver on its commitments to the community whilst maintaining the long-term sustainability of the organisation.
The Resourcing Strategy is made up of four interrelated components:
1. Long-term Financial Planning
- This includes our Finance Management Strategy and 10 year Long-term Financial Plan.
2. Asset Management Planning
- This includes our Asset Management Strategy, Asset Management Policy and Asset Management Plans.
3. Information Management and Technology Planning
- This includes our Information Management and Technology Strategy.
4. Workforce Management Planning
- This includes our workforce Management Strategy that details how we will develop and prepare our workforce to meet the changing demands of our community as well as the emerging challenges faced by an aging workforce. Given the operational nature of this strategy, it is not required to be publicly exhibited or adopted by Council.
