What is a Plan of Management?

A Plan of Management (PoM) is a strategic document providing a planning and management framework for the future use, development and maintenance of Council-owned community land or Crown land in accordance with relevant legislative requirements (e.g. under the Local Government Act or Crown Lands Act). Preparation of a PoM also presents an opportunity to engage with the community and create a vision and values that are consistent with the needs and expectations of the community.
