Consultation has concluded.
How safe do you feel in your home, on the street or at work? Do you feel connected to your community? Do you have access to the services you need to support yourself and your family?
We want to hear about your day-to-day experiences living in Randwick City.
As part of our Inclusive Randwick Strategy, Council is currently undertaking a community safety study to explore residents’ perception of safety and inform a new Community Safety Action Plan.
What is community safety?
Fostering community safety is not only about preventing and responding to crimes and injuries. It is also about fostering social connection and inclusion, and ensuring that our community has equitable access to information and services.
What is a community safety action plan?
A Community Safety Action Plan outlines how Randwick City Council will contribute to increasing the safety and wellbeing of our residents, workers, students and visitors.
The Plan will include a list of actions related to specific areas of safety and wellbeing identified through research and community consultation, to be undertaken by Council over a 10-year period.
Consultation period: 6 March to 9am, 4 April 2023.
