Consultation has concluded.
A draft Social Needs Study is now being developed based on community feedback.
Are you living your best life in Randwick City?
Randwick City Council is conducting a Social Study to understand the current and future social needs of the Randwick City community. We’re seeking feedback from all members of the community and service providers who operate in the Randwick area to understand the range of existing social needs, how well people’s social needs are currently being met, and opportunities to support our community to thrive into the future.
What do we mean by social needs?
‘Social needs’ are likely to mean different things to different people. They can be emotional, physical, cultural and practical. They relate to people’s experiences of home life, public life, work and study, health and wellbeing, friendships and other connections.
How can you help?
A lot has happened in the last few years with the bush fires of 2019, the global pandemic and the general disruption to life on all fronts. We are keen to understand what shape we are in now as a community.
You are invited to take our short, 10 minute survey to tell us about your experiences of Randwick City, as well as the social services, spaces and supports that you and others in your life use now and would strongly value in the future.
Your feedback will be used to inform future decision making by Council including preparation of community focused strategies, grants and support programs.
The Randwick Social Study strives to support a socially sustainable and connected Randwick community.
Consultation period: 17 March to 6 April 2021.
