Frenchmans Bay Playground

This consultation has concluded. The new playground was officially opened by the Mayor, Danny Said on 11 August 2020.

Randwick City Council is planning to upgrade the playground at Frenchmans Bay, corner of Endeavour Avenue and Anzac Parade, La Perouse.

We have created a design for the upgrade that we think the little people of Randwick City and visitors will enjoy, but we would love to hear what you think!

The concept plan has been designed to encourage social interaction, imagination and participation, while developing balance and coordination. To do this, the play activities include a central mound with pull up ropes, a large embankment slide and a theme play tug boat. A climbing pyramid, swings and a maze (perfect for games of hide and seek) have also been included.

You are invited to view the proposed design and share your thoughts.

We will also be at the playground on Wednesday 12 December between 3.30pm and 4.30pm so you can chat to us in person and view the designs on site.

To have your say:

  • Join us at the playground on 12 December at 3.30pm
  • Complete an on-line submission below
  • Send your comments headed "Frenchmans Bay Playground Upgrade" by email to council@randwick.nsw.gov.au
  • Post your comments headed "Frenchmans Bay Playground Upgrade" to the General Manager, Randwick City Council, 30 Frances Street, Randwick NSW 2031.

Consultation closes 9am, Wednesday 19 December 2018.
