    The La Perouse Museum has developed a Collection Policy, that reflects where the Museum has come from and where it might go in the future. We welcome community feedback on the Policy as we continue to develop the Museum as a valued cultural asset for our growing audiences.

    Randwick Council is currently planning the next stage of upgrading Heffron Park with a new, world-class sporting facility known as The Heffron Centre. The Heffron Centre will offer state-of-the-art multipurpose community facilities, which will contain a new indoor multi-purpose sports facility, gymnastics facility, South Sydney Rabbitohs community and high-performance centre, showcase sporting field and new lighting for the south-west oval. We would like to learn more about your ideas and thoughts for the future of The Heffron Centre.

    The Randwick City Architecture and Urban Design Awards are back for 2020 and voting is now open for the People’s Choice Award. The Awards aim to inspire outstanding urban design by recognising design excellence and acknowledging the architects and designers involved in enhancing Randwick City’s built environment.

    Randwick Council has allocated funds in Council’s Budget for 2020-21 to build a new hall at the site of the Matraville Youth & Cultural Hall on Knowles Avenue, Matraville. To help inform Council’s design for the new hall we’re seeking input from the community. Have you used the hall? What activities would you like to see offered in the future?

  • Coogee Shared Space

    Randwick Council has been working with local businesses in Coogee to assist them through the COVID-19 pandemic. We’ve heard that they have been hard hit with restrictions on patron numbers for cafes and restaurants. They are asking for more space for social distancing and outdoor dining. To support businesses and our local community navigate COVID-19 safely we are proposing to create more footpath space on Coogee Bay Rd for outdoor dining and to help people spread out.

  • Malabar Outdoor Gym

    Randwick Council is proposing to install an outdoor gym near Malabar Beach at Cromwell Park. The gym will provide a range of equipment to suit people of all ages and fitness levels. We are seeking feedback from the community to help determine the best location for the gym. View the plans and tell us where you think it should be located.
