The following street and park names are proposed for the redevelopment of the former Inglis Stables site known as the Newmarket Randwick Development.

Inglis Park: The Inglis family leased the Newmarket Stables from 1906 and played a vital role in Australian racing history. Inglis and Sons operated for 112 years at this site.

Yarraman Avenue: This name recognises the former use of the site. Yarraman is a local Aboriginal word meaning horse.

Dillon Street: John Dillon, famous jockey also known as Johnny Cutts won the first two Melbourne Cup races. He leased and ran the Newmarket Hotel and stables in 1866.

Chiltern Street: This name reflects the proximity and historic significance of Chiltern House and Stables at 28 Young Street.

Jane Street (existing): This is an extension of the existing Jane Street.

Fennelly Street: Michael Fennelly purchased the Newmarket property and constructed the Newmarket Big Stable building.

White Lane: James White was a member of the Legislative Assembly and purchased the Newmarket property in partnership with Michael Fennelly in 1878.
