Consultation has concluded. 

The draft Deed of Variation to the Voluntary Planning Agreement for the Newmarket Randwick site was endorsed by Council at the Ordinary Council Meeting, 28 April 2020.

Randwick City Council is proposing to enter into a draft Deed of Variation to the Voluntary Planning Agreement (VPA) for the Newmarket Randwick site (164–174 Barker Street, Randwick) with the Developer of the site: Cbus Property Sydney Residential Pty Ltd.

Under the draft variation, it is proposed that the Developer provide an easement for an electrical substation, stormwater easement for drainage and a monetary contribution for maintenance to the Big Stable Building and land and/or upgrade works to Paine Reserve north.
