The Night Time Economy Business Workshops

Do you own a local business in Randwick City? We need your views.

Randwick City Council is preparing a Night Time Economy Strategy to guide the development of the City’s night-time economy over the next decade. The ‘night time economy’ refers to the mix of cultural, social, and business activities and services that occur after 6pm.

The Strategy will provide a framework of initiatives and practical actions to promote a geographical spread of diverse evening activity, encourage widespread community participation, and improve the safety, amenity, social and economic vitality of our City at night.

Having already consulted with the wider community, we are now seeking the views of local businesses on a number of initiatives being considered to activate our night time economy. Council is running workshops in the following locations for local businesses:

  • Saturday 6 April, 10am-12pm in the Margaret Martin Library, Royal Randwick Shopping Centre, Randwick
  • Monday 8 April, 6pm - 8pm in the Bowen Library, Maroubra Junction

REGISTER TODAY or contact Emese Ruttley-Wolf on 9093 6929.

Registrations close COB Thursday 4 April 2019.
