UPDATE 15 May 2018: IPART has approved Randwick Council's proposal for a Special Rate Variation. More: Randwick Council's media release, IPART media release and IPART determination.

Resident submissions related to the City Plan Review were considered and presented in the Business Paper for the Committee Meeting on 13 February 2018. Council resolved to apply for a rate variation with IPART based on a majority support from residents and ratepayers for Option 3: a cumulative rate increase of 19.85% over three years and borrowing $27M to fast track projects.

Our Community Our Future is Randwick City Council's plan for the future; how we continue to provide you with great services and facilities and deliver exciting new projects.

Our Community Our Future will guide us from 2018 - 2021 and aims to:

• Keep delivering high quality services to the community
• Upgrade and build new community facilities
• Play our part in making Randwick safer by protecting crowded places from terrorism
• Use technology to deliver services faster and more efficiently
• Address domestic violence by supporting women's refuges

Our Community Our Future will be on public exhibition from 1 December 2017 to 5pm, 1 February 2018.

There are a number of ways to provide us with your feedback:

1. Make a submission
   Tell us your thoughts on the plan by making a submission below.
2. Survey
   In a few weeks time, all Randwick City ratepayers will receive a letter from the Mayor with an information booklet and survey (with reply paid envelope). Keep your eye out for your letter in the post.
   Surveys must be received by 1 February 2018.
3. Information Sessions
   We will run two information sessions in December 2017. Click here for more information.
