Walking, cycling and public space opportunities: Anzac Parade, La Perouse to Kingsford.
We want to turn Anzac Parade between La Perouse and Kingsford into a space for people by creating new walking and cycling connections and more public spaces.
By activating the generous central space, we can make it easier to choose walking and cycling as a convenient, safe and healthy transport option as well as creating new recreation opportunities.
As part of our Integrated Transport Strategy to create an additional 30km of safe cycle routes by 2032, we are currently looking at options for the Anzac Parade corridor between La Perouse and Kingsford.
The first step of this process will examine opportunities along the entire Anzac Parade corridor between La Perouse and Kingsford, to help develop detailed design plans for walking and cycling improvements between the Kingsford Light Rail terminus and Fitzgerald Avenue, Maroubra.
Drop a pin on locations along Anzac Parade that present opportunities or challenges for improving cycling, walking and more outdoor recreation space.
Feedback open: 5 April to 5pm, 17 May 2023.
This project is co-funded by Randwick City Council and Transport for NSW’s Get NSW Active program.
