I have an extra special angel in the area who saw my car get hit late at night by an intoxicated driver who did not stop. This person took a video of the vehicle, left a note on my car & called the police to log an event and had . My very kind angel saved my children & I from being without a vehicle plus all the expenses to fix my car and brought this person to justice which just may have saved a life of someone in the future. My Angel didn't leave their contact details with me... Continue reading

the other day I was visiting a popular chemist on maroubra road. As I stood in the line to pay I overheard another lady customer ask the sales attendant if she could "owe" $3.00 for a prescription she was paying for...she had left her wallet at home and had only $109 on her while her bill was $112. The lady promised to return and pay the outstanding $3.00 - she was a regular customer who has all of her family's prescriptions on file at this chemist. The sales attendant refused to comply, much to everyone's dismay - BUT then another... Continue reading
I was walking down a street, where I witnessed a gentleman giving a meal in a bag to a homeless person, and some change. What I saw was not the kindness in the giving of food, but the act of enjoying this moment of helping another being. This encouraged me to then also do some acts of kindness.
I've purchased flowers and chocolate and gave them to strangers just because it felt so good to see joy in another person.

Hi friends. Some low creature had attempted to steal a 25 Horse Power motor from a boat on Franklin Street Matraville and stashed it in the bush area of Franklin Street on the outskirts of the horse paddock.
I saw it when my dog stopped to have a piddle. I pulled it out of the bussh and stood it upright on the trolley it was atteched to. I called Maroubra Police who said they would attend. A young bloke then approached me and said he knows the owner.
I then contacted the police back, the young guy spoke with the... Continue reading

I was waiting to turn onto Avoca Street from Milford Street yesterday and I saw a Marcellin boy on his way to school give a sandwich to a man sitting on the footpath (the man appeared to be homeless as he had a pile of possessions in plastic bags with him). It was a very kind gesture.

At a recent night out with work colleagues trying our hand at a bit of pub
trivia, we were a little shocked to find ourselves in joint first place. The
next round was a ‘fall hard, fall fast’ round of heads and tails, with the
overall winner taking home the jackpot of $100 and the loser getting, well,
nothing. The tension in the room was palpable as the contest came right down to
the wire and it was just me and another girl left standing…. My spirits soared
as I dared to believe I might be the winner, the taste... Continue reading

We were out to dinner one night with the family at The Spot, and my 7 year old son was given $10 from his uncle to buy whatever he wanted. As we left the restuarant we passed a man sitting near the bus stop who looked a little down on his luck. My son stopped, looked at the $10 note in his hand, then turned back and without telling us what he was up to, offered the stranger his $10. The stranger smiled and politely declined, but we couild see he was clearly touched by the gesture - as were... Continue reading

Only yesterday I was reversing out of a car spot in a shopping centre car park when I realised that the ute parked next to me had pretty much parked up against my car. I got out of my car to inspect that no damage had been done and a man walking past asked me if I was ok and needed any help. I wanted to thank this man for making time to check if I needed help.

I would like to say thank you to the man I pass a few times
a week on my walk to work and school. Most mornings I leave the house
with my three children pretty rushed and frazzled...about 3 blocks into my
walk, I pass a lovely friendly gentleman who always says hello and makes a
cheerful comment as we pass. Its at this moment that I realise my grip is
a bit too tight on the stroller, I have been holding my breath and my face is
stuck in a permanent scowl!! His simple gesture of saying... Continue reading
