Each year, Randwick City Council prepares an Operational Plan and Budget which outlines our planned activities for the coming financial year. This is your opportunity to tell us how you think Council should allocate our funds in relation to building and maintaining local parks and gardens, roads and footpaths, sports fields, or any other activity that is important to the community.

The 2017-18 draft Operational Plan and Budget and draft Fees and Charges are on public exhibition until 9am, 22 May 2017.

Highlights from the 2017-18 draft Budget include:

  • $28.4m in public spaces, buildings and equipment
  • $5.8m on bulidings such as the new tennis precinct at Hefffron Park
  • $8.5m on parks and recreation
  • $1.2m on drainage
  • $13.1m on roads and new kerbs and guttering
  • $1.6m on sustaining our city on projects such as stormwater harvesting, cycle ways and native trees

You can share your thoughts by:

  • Completing an on-line submission through this site
  • Sending your comments headed "Operational Plan and Budget 2017-18" to the General Manager by email council@randwick.nsw.gov.au

All submissions will be carefully considered before finalising the 2017-18 draft Budget, Operational Plan and Fees and Charges.
