Inspiring buildings that demonstrate excellence and enhance the urban environment of Randwick City will be acknowledged in the 2013 Randwick Urban Design Awards.
Now open for nominations, the Urban Design Awards are held every two years and promote community awareness about excellence in design, and celebrate the architects whose work helps shape our City.
The Mayor of Randwick Councillor Tony Bowen said it is important to recognise and encourage excellence in design.
“The buildings and homes that are built following Council’s Development Application process significantly contribute to the streetscape and character of our City. It’s important to encourage creative design that takes into account the local environment and sustainable design elements,” the Mayor said.
