Consultation has concluded. 

Project update: At the Ordinary Council Meeting, 25 August 2020, Council agreed to enter into the Voluntary Planning Agreement for 1 Cowper Street Randwick.

Notification of draft Voluntary Planning Agreement for the UNSW Mulwarree Student Housing development site at 1 Cowper Street, Randwick.

Randwick City Council is proposing to enter into a draft Voluntary Planning Agreement (VPA) for the UNSW Mulwarree Student Housing development site at No. 1 Cowper Street, Randwick, Lot 4 of Section 21 in DP 758867 and Lot 7 of Section 21 in DP 758867.

Under the draft VPA, the Developer agrees to provide for the following:

  • Provision for a Monetary Contribution of $126,903.20 for the purposes of providing footpaths and/or bike lanes in the area in the immediate vicinity of the University of New South Wales.
