Consultation has concluded.

Project update: More than 250 survey responses were received during the consultation period, with the largest proportion of survey respondents (47%) preferring no change to the current traffic arrangement on Green Street, between Garden Street and Anzac Parade; citing flexibility and accessibility, reduced congestion on surrounding streets, and concerns about exacerbating current problems or creating new ones as the main reasons for this as the preferred option.

Community Consultation: 

Following concerns raised by members of the community, Randwick City Council is investigating possible traffic flow changes on Green Street, between Anzac Parade and Garden Street, Maroubra.

We are seeking your feedback on five proposed options:

  • Option 1: No changes (maintain current arrangement)
  • Option 2: Green Street one-way westbound (Garden St to Anzac Pde)
  • Option 3: Green Street one-way eastbound (Anzac Pde to Garden St)
  • Option 4: Eastern end one-way easterly and the remaining section two way (near Garden St)
  • Option 5: Western end one-way westerly and the remaining section two way (near Anzac Pde)

Your feedback will assist the Council in determining whether to introduce traffic changes to Green Street, Maroubra.

We encourage your input, even if you do not want any changes and prefer maintaining the current traffic arrangement.
