Consultation has concluded
Randwick City Council is preparing a Plan of Management and Masterplan for Maroubra Beach to guide the future vision for the area and to improve the liveability and vitality of one of our most loved coastal neighbourhoods.
The plans will cover Maroubra Beach, the Maroubra and South Maroubra Surf Life Saving Clubs, Pavilion Beachfront Café, skate park and children’s playground, outdoor gym, Mahon Pool and Jack Vanny Reserve, Arthur Byrne Reserve, Broadarrow Reserve, and John Shore Park.
The Plan of Management and Masterplan do not relate to planning controls for development or for the Maroubra Beach town centre.
We are seeking your input now to help deliver a plan that is community-oriented, liveable and sustainable.
What is important or special about the Maroubra Beach area to you? What do you like about Maroubra Beach?
How do you use the Maroubra Beach area? How do you get there? What activities do you do there?
Are there any improvements or changes to the Maroubra Beach area that you would like to see?
