Consultation has concluded

Randwick City Council is preparing a Plan of Management and Masterplan for Maroubra Beach to guide the future vision for the area and to improve the liveability and vitality of one of our most loved coastal neighbourhoods.

The plans will cover Maroubra Beach, the Maroubra and South Maroubra Surf Life Saving Clubs, Pavilion Beachfront Café, skate park and children’s playground, outdoor gym, Mahon Pool and Jack Vanny Reserve, Arthur Byrne Reserve, Broadarrow Reserve, and John Shore Park.

The Plan of Management and Masterplan do not relate to planning controls for development or for the Maroubra Beach town centre.

We are seeking your input now to help deliver a plan that is community-oriented, liveable and sustainable.

  • How do you use the Maroubra Beach area? How do you get there? What activities do you do there?
  • Are there any improvements or changes to the Maroubra Beach area that you would like to see?

Have your say:

  1. Join us at our community drop-in session Saturday 15 May, 10am to 12pm. Look for us at the Maroubra beachside reserve (opposite McKeon Street)
  2. Complete our survey to tell us how you use Maroubra Beach and its surrounds
  3. Drop a pin on the interactive map to share what you love about Maroubra Beach or what needs improving
  4. Send your comments headed “Maroubra Beach Plan of Management” to the General Manager by email council@randwick.nsw.gov.au(External link) or by post to Randwick City Council, 30 Frances Street, Randwick NSW 2031.
