Purcell Park outdoor gym
Consultation has concluded.
Randwick Council is building an outdoor gym at Purcell Park in Matraville, creating more accessible and free outdoor fitness opportunities for our community.
The gym, situated along Australia Ave, will enjoy natural shade from nearby trees and more natives will be planted to integrate the gym into the park.
The proposed equipment includes leg press, aerobic cycle, orbitrainer, chest press, pull down and gorilla bars, making it a versatile space for all ages and fitness levels.
The equipment is constructed using corrosion-resistant metal and instructional signage will be placed on each piece of equipment to guide you through your workout. Seating elements have also been included in the design that can double as useable equipment.
