Consultation has concluded
Randwick City Council is seeking your feedback on our Draft Smart City Strategy. The draft strategy provides Council with a road map for how we will respond to and take advantage of technological changes to address local challenges and improve service delivery.
Randwick City Council defines a smart city as: A City that puts people first by using smart processes, data and technology to make advancements in liveability, sustainability and economic prosperity.
The Strategy recognises Council’s strengths as a leader in technical innovation and sets the direction for smart city action for the next ten years.
The Draft Strategy has been developed following a preliminary community consultation in March this year, where we sought feedback on the community's priorities for smart city innovation. To do this, residents were invited to complete a survey or attend a workshop. You can read more about the outcomes of the consultation in the Smart City Strategy Engagement Report.
