Voluntary Planning Agreements on exhibition


A Voluntary Planning Agreement (VPA) is a legal agreement entered into by a planning authority, such as Randwick Council, and a developer. Under the VPA, a developer agrees to provide or fund community benefits such as public amenities, public services, affordable housing, transport, or other infrastructure.


Voluntary Planning Agreements on exhibition:
16-18 Rainbow Street, Kingsford

Council is proposing to enter into a draft Voluntary Planning Agreement (VPA) for the development at 16-18 Rainbow Street, Kingsford, with the Developer of the site, Reno Holding Pty Ltd.

Under the draft VPA, the Developer agrees to provide the following:

  • Community Infrastructure Contribution to the value of $1,098,200 to be delivered as either works-in-kind, a monetary contribution, or a combination of both
  • Affordable Housing Monetary Contribution to the value of $1,607,613.75
