Council has assessed all comments from the community and has forwarded these to the external Built Environment Design consultants, who will use this information in moving forward with the detailed design.
What will the new facility look like?
The new design will include further design consideration e.g. planting and landscaping to improve the sites interaction and response to the streetscape and surrounds.

To ensure the effects of extreme heat are limited and climate responsive design is being followed, heat island mitigation plans are being required which address thermal comfort in developments applying for design excellence.
